Prices only. MyCarePrice publishes general information about what outpatient procedures cost and why prices differ by facility type. We do not publish diagnosis, treatment, or should-you-get-this-test content, and nothing on this site should be read as a recommendation for or against any procedure.
Not medical advice. Information on this site is not a substitute for advice from your clinician. Talk to your clinician about your care. Talk to the facility billing office about your price.
Medicare anchors are not your bill. The dollar figures labeled as Medicare anchors are amounts Medicare pays under the Physician Fee Schedule or OPPS from the named CMS source and year printed next to them. Your cash price, insurance allowed amount, and final bill will differ. The anchor is provided to explain order of magnitude and the facility-type lever.
Confirm your price in writing before service. This instruction appears on every price page because it is the only reliable way to know your price. Ask for the CPT code, setting, and inclusions in writing from the facility that will perform the service.
No invented prices. Where a self-pay price cannot be verified from a public source, we do not publish one. Hospital machine-readable file list prices are not presented as patient prices. See Methodology for what our sources can and cannot support.
Emergency. If you believe you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not delay emergency care to research prices.
